Our Mission & Our Community
Knights Monumental's mission is to minister to the spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional and environmental needs of all people by spreading the gospel regardless of race, creed or ethnicity.
In 1958, three families — the Densleys, the Grimes, and the Slaughters — joined together with community members to build God's house with their own hands, pooling lumber and labor to raise a place of worship in Stockbridge. What began as Bible study in a family home has grown into a thriving congregation, now led by its 13th pastor, Rev. Henry Oliver.
